
Culture Night’s nineteenth edition took place last month which aims to celebrate the arts, creativity, and culture. It promotes the belief that varied and rich culture is treasured, nurtured and alive in people’s lives.
Culture Night first started in 2009 as a Temple Bar Culture Night, but nineteen years later It takes place across the island of Ireland and online.
It is organised by the Arts Council in conjunction with county councils and other local authorities. Every event is free and open to the public. Events took place across Meath in Navan, Ratoath, Athboy, Trim, Duleek and many more towns and village.

These ranged from a music night in the Royal Meath Bar in Navan, a Flower Crown Workshop in Carlantown and an Exhibition by Fiona McKenna in the Meath County Council Arts Office in Kells.
There was also a Ukulele Class in Dunshaughlin, an Open Mic in Athboy to the Emerald Céilí Band in Rathkenny, and Royal Meath Accordion Orchestra in Duleek.
New to the Culture Night schedule, Enfield held their first-ever Culture Night events, including a Drive-In Movie, multiple exhibitions and live music.
