Applications are now open for craft and design businesses from County Meath to participate in Local Enterprise Showcase 2027, taking place in the RDS Dublin from 17–19 January 2027.

Local Enterprise Showcase is one of Ireland’s most important trade opportunities for emerging craft and design businesses. More than 100 companies from across the country will take part, gaining the opportunity to meet high-quality buyers from Ireland and overseas, including the UK, USA, mainland Europe, Asia and Africa.

An initiative of the Local Enterprise Offices, Local Enterprise Showcase is a dedicated area within Showcase that highlights Ireland’s newest and most exciting design talent. Businesses selected to participate receive significant support in advance of the event, including mentoring in merchandising, marketing, pricing and sales techniques, to ensure they are fully prepared to maximise opportunities during the three-day trade show.

Showcase is regarded as a pinnacle event in the global craft and design calendar and generates millions of euros in sales orders each year. For many businesses, participation can be transformative, helping them to secure stockists, enter new export markets and build long-term commercial relationships.

Local Enterprise Office Meath is encouraging eligible craft and design businesses who are ready to scale, grow their customer base and explore new markets to apply. Selection is competitive and is based on criteria such as product quality, design originality, production capacity, pricing and market readiness.

Caoimhe Delany, Business Advisor with responsibility for creative industries at Local Enterprise Office Meath said: “The Local Enterprise Showcase is a powerful launchpad for emerging craft and design businesses. Engaging with a focused group of buyers and stockists from around the globe can be truly transformative, while the experience also equips participants with the insight and confidence needed for long-term success.”

Showcase 2027 is presented on behalf of Design & Crafts Council Ireland, with support from Enterprise Ireland in promoting the event internationally through its overseas network, and the Local Enterprise Offices nationwide.

Further details on eligibility, application deadlines and support available can be obtained from Local Enterprise Office Meath by emailing [email protected] or by visiting www.localenterprise.ie.
